SELF PROMOTIONAL
STOP MOTION
Brief:
Create a self-promotional item(s) to tell your story, make your mark and get you noticed. The aim here is to get your foot in the door with a chosen company or sector (film/tv, audio, advertising, interaction design…). You may decide to create a general promotional piece or something directed at a specific company or individual. It could be a short film, an engaging interactive website, a motion graphics piece, a mix of these or something completely different. Whatever it is, be inventive and make something that will get you noticed.
Solution:
My solution for this project is to create a stop motion piece. The video introduces myself and where I go to school. It then shows my past and current work. I did this because I wanted to try to do stop motion and I got inspired by some videos that I have watched. My concept for the stop motion was the use of ripped paper to introduce myself and utilize props to show the tools that I use for my projects.
